Sunday of Prayer for Racial Harmony

On Sunday, September 3, First Christian Church of Chicago will be conducting its annual community prayer emphasis. This year, due to the continued racial struggles that repeatedly erupt across the country, the emphasis will be on praying for racial harmony.

Ashburn has for nearly two decades stood as an example of different ethnic groups living in close proximity to one another. However, just living close to one another is not what God desires. God desires to see people with differing ethnic backgrounds and skin hues to receive one another in the same family as brothers and sisters.

The prayer emphasis will begin at 10:00AM on the east lawn of the First Christian Church of Chicago campus. Members of the community are invited to join us.

Gentlemen, join us on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the FCC building in the Fireside Room at 8:30am for some time growing in fellowship with a breakfast spread put together by some of our find gentlemen.

Why a fellowship Bible Study environment to do that? Because we understand that we cannot be strong, godly men by ourselves. We need brothers who will walk the journey with us.
